The 144,000 Elijah PeopleAfter
all this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth,
holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind should blow on
the earth or on the sea or on any tree. And I saw another angel
ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of God; and he
cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to who it was granted to
harm the earth and the sea, saying, "do not harm the earth or the
sea or the trees, until we have sealed the bond servants of our God on
their foreheads. Revelation 7:1-3 The
four angels that are holding back the four winds are the angels of the 1st
four trumpets. These angels have the power to harm the earth. It takes
wind to blow the trumpets. These angels are told not to harm until the
special people, the bond servants, are sealed. These people are chosen
by God to do a work that no one else can do upon this earth. It is not
that God loves these more than His other children, but because He has
proven them to be overcomers. They live by faith and are willing to give
their lives to bring truth at all costs. The trumpets will add to the
credibility of their message. The trumpets will disrupt life as we know
it and many will turn to God. And
I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty four
thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel. Revelation 7:4 Many believe the 144,000 are only of the Jewish descent. Yet we see in: Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise. Romans 9:27 And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, "though the number of the Sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that will be saved. Verse 30-31 What shall we say, the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith; but Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law saved." Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God. Romans 9:8 That is, it is not the children of flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants. Romans 10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him Romans 11:5 In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God's gracious choice. Galatians 3:7-8 Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "All nations shall be blessed in you." Verse 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer. Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus I
Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body,
whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we are all made to
drink of one Spirit. THE
CHILDREN OF GOD ARE THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL All
children of God are Abraham's offspring. They are accepted by faith in
Jesus Christ. Each child is joined with a tribe according to their
experience in the Lord. They are spiritual Israel. The 144,000 will be
chosen from all of God's people's. And
I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him
one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His
Father written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like
the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the
voice which I hear was like the sound of harpists playing on their on
their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the
four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song
except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased
from the earth. These are the ones who have been purchased from the
earth. These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they
have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb
wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first
fruits to God and to the Lamb. And no lie was found in their mouth; they
are blameless. Revelation 14:1-5 These are the first fruits, and they are the possession of the High Priest, Christ, and they sing a song that no one else can sing. They only, because they are the only ones to have had this experience. ( compare Exodus 23:19 song of Moses) They
have not been defiled with women and have kept themselves chaste. Does
this mean they are all men and they are virgins. NO! In the Greek
pronouns have feminine or masculine gender and they are sometimes used
when it is really an inanimate pronoun. Women are represented in
Revelation as apostate churches. No lie was found in their mouth. Does
this mean they have never told a lie. NO! Everyone has told a little
white lie at some time or another. These are not perfect people, but
they will only speak truth in their ministry of spreading the gospel.
They have a pure understanding of the truth and not the false doctrines
of Babylon. They will not participate in the apostate church. These will
reflect faith just as Noah did in building the ark when no one had ever
even seen rain. He acted on what God had revealed to Him. These will do
the same, for they have been studying and praying and giving their all
for God. You will recall that Saul who later became Paul was persecuting
Christians. God saw inside this man and knew with His foreknowledge what
Paul could do for the gospel. He sees what is inside these special
people that He can use to bring this special message of His soon return.
They are willing to go, be and do all that
Jesus asks. He accepts you just where you are and is willing to
work with you to conform you to His image. The
144,000 are men and women who God will choose to be His servants,
prophets, bondslaves to carry the endtimes message of His return. Many
of them will die during their message time. They will serve Him for
1,260 days. The entire tribulation period is 1335 days. The ministry of
the 144,000 along with the two witnesses is 1,260 days when the doors of
mercy are closed. There is no need of them to spread the message after
this as everyone has made his decision. They have received the seal of
God are taken the mark of the beast. This
graph shows the timeline of the ministry of the 144,000. Notice the
short time between the ending of the selection of the 144,000 and the
four winds being let go. This time period is for the shaking of the
church. A time when true Christian's are separated from those who are
not. You will notice also the small period between the 1,260 days and
the end. The 144,000 have nothing to do because mercy has ended and the

can easily misinterpret the prophecies just as the Jews did if we do not
see the harmony of the Scriptures and with the help of the Holy Spirit. Malachi
4:5-6 "Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet
before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord.
And he will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the
hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land
with a curse." This prophecy was given to Israel 350 years
before Christ. They interpreted it that Elijah would come physically to
announce the Messiah. Elijah was taken to heaven in a whirlwind. (11
Kings 2:11) In the misunderstanding of this prophecy they missed the
Messiah completely and rejected Him. Jesus took Peter, James and John with Him when He was transfigured on the mount. They saw Moses and Elijah talking with Him. The disciples asked Him "Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first:" (Matthew 17 :10) verses 12-13 Jesus answered them saying, "Elijah is coming and will restore all things; but I say to you that Elijah already came, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wished. So also the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hand." Then the disciples understood that He had spoken to them about John the Baptist. John the Baptist was not Elijah.
John
was a "type" of Elijah. Jesus said. "Truly, I say to
you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than
John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is
greater than he. And if you care to accept it, he himself is Elijah, who
was to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear." Matthew
11:11,14 The prophecy in Malachi 4 has yet to be fulfilled. Yes it applies to the first advent but it also applies to the great and terrible day of the Lord, yet future, the second coming. John the Baptist prepared the way for the Lord, he announced the coming of Messiah. The 144,000 will also come in the spirit and power of Elijah and they will prepare the way of the Lord's second coming, the great and terrible day of the Lord. Is there any doubt as to when the great and terrible day of the Lord will be? Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, Cruel, with fury and burning anger, to make the land a desolation; And He will exterminate its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not flash forth their light; The sun will be dark when it rises, And the moon will not shed its light. Thus I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity. Isaish13:9-11 Alas
for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, And it will come as
destruction from the Almighty. Joel 1:15 For
you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just
like a thief in the night. I Thessalonians 5:2 But
the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will
pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense
heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. 2 Peter 3:10 And
I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake;
and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon
became like blood; and the stars of the sky feel to the earth, as a fig
tree cast its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. And the sky was
split apart like a scroll When it is rolled up; and every mountain and
island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth and
the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every
slave and free man, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of
the mountains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks,
"Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the
throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; from the great day of their
wrath has come; and who is able to stand?" Revelation 6:12-17 The great day of the Lord is the end of the age. The
promise of Elijah before the great day of the Lord has yet to be
fulfilled. The 144,000 will come in the spirit of Elijah to announce the
2nd coming of the Lord just as John came to announce His
first coming. Perhaps
one of you that are reading this will be one of these Elijah people. May
God help each of us to prepare for His coming. Amen and Amen
