The Remnant

Are you a Christian going through a lot of trials right now? Does it seem all those that are doing wrongly are the ones that are succeeding? Are they the ones getting the promotions at your job, the ones that can have the luxuries of life while you can hardly meet your bills? Does everything seem to be going right for them while you are suffering?
"When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules, people groan." Proverbs 29:2 "Do not fret because of evildoers, be not envious toward wrongdoers. For they will wither quickly like the grass, and fade like the green herb." Psalms 37:1-2

God is preparing a special group of people in these last days. A people that love Him and are willing to live by faith.

Our faith during these times of suffering is not in vain. "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord." I Corinthians 15:58 I Peter 4:12-13 "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as through some strange thing is happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing so that also at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation."

The remnant are made up of people of all denominations. Some are not even in a Church building. God is calling a people from everywhere. A people who are hungry for the truth. A people who are willing to go, be and do all that He asks. We must keep the faith in spite of all the trials that we may face. "I tell you that He will bring justice for them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8 "And said to Him, Lord, are there just a few who are being saved? And He said to them, Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, saying, Lord, open up to us! Then He will answer and say to you, I do not know where you are from." Luke 13:23-25 God is raising up His church.

The remnant will be bold, willing to stand up for their faith at all costs. The remnant are studying His prophecies so they might know of our Lord's soon return. Satan knows that his time is getting short so he is speeding up his warring on God's people in every way that he can. Just look at the world around you and see the sin that abounds and yet most accept it as the norm. Satan isn't bothered by the wrongdoers, he has them already. He would like nothing better than to discourage and deceive the people of God.
Revelation 12:17 "And the dragon (Satan) was wroth with the woman (God's people, the Church) and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments (the ten commandments) of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 14:12 "Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

The remnant will keep the law of God. They will not compromise. Although there are many who say they are Christians and go to church every week, the Lord says in Luke 12:32 "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.

There will be many seeking heaven. "Not everyone who say to Me, Lord Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My father who is in heaven." Matthew 17:21

God warns us that some will leave the faith,but the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, in 1 Timothy 4:1. We have become a people who want to hear things that make us feel good. We like programs that entertain us and want to hear good things that do not convict us. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires and will turn away their ears for the truth, and will turn aside to myths." II Timothy 4:1-4

The Lord does nothing without prior notice to His saints. We have warnings throughout the Bible for these last days. "But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance." Mark 13:23 All God's people should be on the alert. Luke 12:37 "Blessed are those slaves who the master shall find on the alert when He comes; truly I say to you, that He will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them."

My fellow believers, take a stand for Christ and be a part of the remnant to be saved.
Daniel 7:22 "Until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the Kingdom."
