Salvation, Saints & Sinners

Most of our focus in this newsletter is aimed towards the study of the prophecies. But, in this message of manna to you our readers and newcomers, I desire to share a message of utmost importance and urgency.

The message is this: are you saved, if so what are you doing with the gift of salvation? If not, did you know that you need to be saved?

You see, many folks don’t believe they need salvation, or they believe that by their good works or maybe because they are just basically good and don’t lie, cheat, or steal, they’ll go to heaven.

Well first of all, there is a heaven to gain, and a hell to shun. There is an eternally living , loving God the Father, who sent His only Son to be a substitution of the sacrificial Lamb for us. That means all of us. It doesn’t matter how good or how bad any of us has been, we all needed a sacrifice. So God by His Holy Spirit, through the work of His Son Jesus, on the cross of Calvary, made a way for all of us to come to Him, and have fellowship and relationship with Him. But how do we find out about Salvation.

The Bible, tells us there is no other way to God but, thorugh His Son Jesus. And, how will we know unless we hear, and how we hear unless someone goes and talks to someone else. So that’s what we’re doing right now, is telling you about yours and mine—our need for salvation.

In the beginning when God created Adam and Eve, we were perfect. But through deception and transgression they rebelled against God, and so all who came after Adam and Eve were born into an inheritance of sin. Then came blood sacrifices for the atonement of our sins. The Bible says without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. So up until the time of Jesus on the cross, there has always been the covenant sign of blood seal between God and man, for the remission of sins.

Blood is very-very precious to God. And whenever a covenant was made between two consenting parties in the days of old, it was forever or until it was fulfilled, or super seeded by a new and better covenant agreement. Through the death of the blood sacrifice of Jesus we have eternal life forever, if we by faith choose to believe and accept it.

We cannot earn, buy it, or steal it. It’s a free gift to the worst down and out murdering thief, and the best honest man you have ever known. It doesn’t' matter who you are or were, what you’ve done, or didn’t do, it’s what will you do with now, and how will you treasure it afterwards.

There are some backsliding Christian’s today, who walk their daily lives out before other unbelievers, and when they see this, many times their thoughts are, "well they are no different or better off that I am, so why bother?"
Reader, if you don’t know Jesus as your personal friend and Savior, ask Him to be yours today. Tell Him its your desire to believe and you accept Him as such. And the rest of us, if you have not been walking like one, let’s start improving on our lifestyle today. Just as we repented (turned away, changed directions) from our old lifestyle and habits, we needed the Holy Spirit’s guidance through the Word to receive Salvation, we need the Promise of the Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us to live our daily lives before God.

We don’t need more goodliness, we need more Godliness. He’s not gonna resign, and He can’t be fired. He always has been and He always will be. He is the beginning and the end. The choice is yours.

Do you wanna be a Christian, (Christ-like)? There is a God. He is coming soon! And in black and white, you will either spend the rest of your life in Heaven or Hell when all is said and done.

Are you already a Christian, but you’ve grown to be a wanderer, indifferent, and uninterested? Do not despair, Even though you may be in the midst of the storm, he will give you peace. A real Christian understands that the circumstance we face, the wind and waves in our lives as Peter on the water will happen, but when we give our all to the MASTER, he grants us all His peace. Anyone can laugh when things are going good but, a Christian can have joy in the midst of the storms of life, a deep inner calm that faces head on the storms through a confidence in Christ Jesus.

Contact us and let us know now if you’ve made a decision, so we can share your joy and help you know the peace of God you have in Christ.
