A Whole Lot
of Shaking Going On
The shaking of the church will occur during a short time just before the
7 trumpets of Revelation begin. There will be a testing of Christians
before the daily intercession of Christ in Heaven is abolished.
In our churches today there are all kinds of doctrines that cannot be
agreed upon. Pastors themselves do not understand the Bible and if they
do, they will not teach it all... it’s true! My own pastor believed
one truth, but taught another because it was controversial. It was much
easier to not have to stand before men with something that he might have
to stand alone on. Keeping his sheep in his fold was easier that way.
But the time is coming when one lone wolf will be able to scatter the
sheep, despite this as truth unfolds and deceptions.
This has already been seen in many churches, my own included. Many have
fallen in the cracks and left the church completely. They are out there
alone to be devoured. And no one goes after them. They use many excuses.
If a brother or sister falls should not the church be there for them.
Would a sheepherder not go after his sheep. Would he not look for that
one little sheep. There are many who have lost their way, yet they still
belong to Christ. They have no fellowship with other believers.
Many pastors
will not or cannot teach the Revelation verse by verse. This is very
much part of the Bible and contains many things for this generation, yet
it is almost as if it were a book not written, of no importance.
Man has filled his cup of iniquity. Will not God deal with this? Will He
turn His head at the sin of man? Will His judgment be prolonged forever?
Matthew 24:38 says: "For as in those days which were before the
flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in
marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark."
Verse 39: "...and they did not understand until the flood came and
took them all away: so shall the coming of the Son of Man be."
Have our churches become more of an entertainment center rather than a
place of true worship? Do we desire to be entertained and have that
"feel good feeling" rather than to study God’s word line on
line, precept on precept?
How can we know God, if we do not know what He is like and what He
expects? How can we truly know the time without studying? The 3 wise men
knew when to expect the birth of Christ, because they had studied the
scriptures. They were wise because they studied. They were students,
like you and me.
When God shakes the church will it be able to discern what is truth and
what is deception? The book of Daniel was sealed up until the time of
the end. Daniel is unfolding before our very eyes, and yet many are
still blind.
We build bigger buildings and have more entertainment than ever before.
There are so many activities and programs that we have time for little
else, but to work for a living.
Although church membership is on the rise there is an absence of the
Holy Spirit, conviction. The Church fully accepts sin, divorce,
homosexuality, alcoholism, and living outside the Church in a way that
others are not even aware that we know Christ.
We see so many proclaim that Jesus is in their lives, yet when they are
in the world, they must join in dirty jokes, profanity, etc. They have
to "fit in" and to do so, they must follow the world and
accept what is in it. God’s people are a peculiar people, they stand
out and proclaim Christ at all cost. Many have lost homes, jobs and even
so-called friends in order to live in God’s Commandments.
Revelation 14:12: "Here is the patience of the saints: Here are
they that keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
On the most part, in this country, we have had complete freedom to
worship in the way we choose. But, the time is coming when this will be
taken from us. The shaking of the Church will reveal the true worship of
God. We have the choice of following God or man.
As our own group was brought together as a result of desiring complete
truth, so are many others around this globe; wanting and praying for
complete surrender to our Lord & Master. We have a strong desire to
be used in this last generation. Our prayer for you is that you too will
desire Christ above all else, to truly want every aspect of your life to
be filled with Him. Are you ready for the shaking? Will you be deceived?
Will it show that Christ lives in you? When the pressure is on what is
inside will come out, like a pressure cooker that explodes. This is what
will others see!
