"Y2K
" A Christian View
We have been asked often about "Y2K". No one can say for sure
what the actual outcome will be. The only thing that we do know is that
there could be some serious problems resulting from this computer
malfunction in the year 2000.
We need to be prayerful about this possible emergency. This could affect
our entire infrastructure.
Man has become totally dependant on things of his own making. This only
proves how vulnerable he truly is.
Have faith in God for He alone knows the future. His plan will supersede
regardless.
Early Americans stored up to a years food supply at a time in order to
prepare for the winter. Might we learn from this ourselves!
Or may we learn in I Corinthians 1:25 . . . The foolishness of God is
wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's
strength.
To have our business in order, a couple of month's food supply and other
necessities could prove to be quite beneficial.
We have several month's ahead to prepare ourselves in case of an
emergency. Might we take heed to this warning!
Go to the ant, O sluggard, Observe her ways and be wise, Which, having
no chief, officer or ruler, Prepares her food in the summer, And gathers
her provisions in the harvest. Proverbs 6:6-8
